PUL delay!

Thanks for taking the minute to come over here to read my blog!

I have been so blessed with all the orders that have been coming in and although I've had a waiting period, I've been able to keep up with it all!

Two weeks ago, I noticed I was starting to run low on my PUL, so I called in an order and it got here the same day I used the last of my other roll. Perfect timing, right?!

Well, not really! They sent me 1 mil PUL instead of 2 mil. 1 mil is considerably a lot thinner so I refuse to use it for my wet bags. So I called the company and the lady I need to speak with is out of town until Tuesday. Once I speak with her, it'll be another 2 or 3 days until the new PUL arrives.

This sets me back about a week on all my orders.

If this causes a problem for you. Please email me and I will try my best to figure something out.

I do have some small PUL pieces in a bin that I set to the side. I'm normally too lazy to go back and get a small piece, but some of them are large enough for a medium bag or some smaller bags. So if you have an order for some smaller bags, your order may not be effected by this delay.

If I'm able to get to your order, you'll get a email from paypal for your shipping label letting you know that your package is going out.

Again, I am SO SO sorry for the delay! Let me know if you have any concerns what so ever!

I will try to keep you updated here on my blog as to how the customs are coming and how the PUL is coming also, so if you can, bookmark this for updates! :)

I'm back!

Wow!
I really need to start updating this more!

Where do I start? There's so much to talk about!

We'll start with sewing:

I've gotten a lot done the past few days since dh is home for the summer (he's a teacher!). I'm trying to figure out a good balance between sewing, housework, spending time with the kids and dh, and packing!

I plan on focusing on sewing this week for future stockings (Bitty Fluff- Thursday, my store Friday and Sweet Retreat July 2nd), and then next week focus on packing- like crazy!

The house has really been suffering, but as long as no one comes over, that's ok lol

Anyways, Jason just got home from signing our mortgage agreement (signing our life away to more debt- I guess it's good debt though) with the bank for our new house and we should be able to close on it in a few weeks! It's looking like July 10th give or take!

Welp, that's all for now. I'm going to try to keep this updated with customs info, stocking info, daily life, etc.! Let me know if you read this so I'm more encouraged to blog!

And for the sake of pictures...here's a few bags I've been working on for the next stocking! :D

I'm moving through the customs list! Slowly but surely! I'm trying to get at least 1 custom done a night, if not two! Some of you have some large orders, so I'm moving as fast as I can, but still making beautiful (if I may say so myself) wet bags!

As for updates: at the moment I am currently completely out of PUL...bone dry! I have nothing! It should be coming in though today or tomorrow and once it comes in I'm going to be sewing like a crazy woman! :) Thanks for your patience!!

Closed Until the End of March/Beginning of April

Alrighty, Loving Touch Wet Bags will be closed until the End of March/Beginning of April due to us moving into our 1st house! Hopefully we'll be closing on it next week and be moving in soon after!

I have a few custom prefold orders I'm still working on, and a onsies-to-tshirt, but after I'm through with that I'm packing up the sewing machine!

I'm hoping to have a collab. with a very popular mama here on ds real soon! Hopefully before I move! So keep checking back!

Moving

Hey ladies (and gentleman!),

This next stocking on Feb. 12th will be my last stocking for about a month or so. We just bought a house and we're planning on moving in two weeks. We just decided the other day to move at the end of the month so I have TONS of packing to do! So I definitely won't have time to sew for any other stockings until we get settled into our new house!

Anyone want to help pack?

Also! Exciting news on the wet bag homefront!! :) I have been looking FOREVER for some Ooga Booga fabric. This fabric is discontinued, extremely hard to find, and once you find it, it's SUPER expensive to buy. Anyways, I'm going to be offering a medium wet bag in the Ooga Booga print for an auction on Feb. 12th.
